We contribute to the empowerment of women and girls in vulnerable situations.

Training and empowering women and girls at risk of exclusion

In 2022, one of our priorities was to contribute to the achievement of two Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4 “Quality Education” and SDG 5 “Gender Equality”.

By focusing part of our efforts on SDG 5, we contribute to the training and empowerment of women and girls at risk of exclusion who are going through complicated realities characterized by inequality, violence and lack of opportunities.

We have carried out the project in 7 of our operations and have managed to benefit 154 people, who have increased their self-confidence, empowering them to achieve everything they set out to do.

This project strengthens our commitment to contribute to achieving gender equality; but, above all, it has inspired and transformed the lives of all the women and girls who have participated.

We thank our volunteers for their hard work, who have carried out the project with special enthusiasm and dedication.

Impact.

41 LLYC professionals participated as volunteers to empower more than 154 women and girls in vulnerable situations in 7 countries where we are present.
