CALICANTO Foundation

CAPTA II Project.
Training collaboration in the Calicanto Foundation's CAPTA Project

Online training sessions for female entrepreneurs.

For the second consecutive year, we are launching the CAPTA project training sessions, together with The Calicanto Foundation, a benchmark in Panama in the development of programs and social actions that promote the empowerment of women.

Through the CAPTA project, the Calicanto Foundation offers many women at risk of social exclusion the opportunity to improve their lives and their communities through psycho-emotional tools to face a new reality, including workshops on Emotional Intelligence, Communication in virtual environments and Resilience, among others.

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals and our commitment to carry out local aid projects for women at risk of social exclusion. Our team of volunteers from the LLYC Foundation in Panama had the opportunity to restart the collaboration with the Calicanto Foundation through training in consumer engagement, branding and social media management to help female entrepreneurs boost their businesses.

In this more personalized 2nd Edition, a total of 12 women were trained, who had the opportunity to learn and answer questions about communication and brand image.

A project marked by the great reception and enthusiasm of all the women from the Calicanto Foundation who were able to once again participate in the training.

''It is very rewarding to have been able to carry out these training sessions again, which promote the empowerment of women and the reduction of inequalities. Thanks to Giuliana Venutolo, Guillermo Tejada, Margorieth Tejeira and Liliana Madrid for their participation in the project on the training side.''
